I Picture This: at home art packs bring art to your home. They encourage you look at a selection of paintings, think about them, and share your thoughts.
In a book club everybody reads the same book and then discusses it. Instead of reading a book, look at and discuss paintings. The packs are designed for discussion. There are no right or wrong answers when looking at art, and no background knowledge is necessary. The art packs can be reused many times. Different observations and conversations will take place each time you look!
How are life's milestones recorded in art? Join the celebrations and the dramas as stories - both fictional and real - are retold in art.
Capturing childhood from infancy through to adolescence. How was their childhood 300 years ago similar or different to your own?
Explore notions of heroism through three very different heroes – a mythical hero, a widow and a defeated leader.
Portraits invite us to look at and consider another person. Who were they? What were they like? What does the artist tell us?
Contemplate the beauty of nature, the passing of time, and the cycle of birth and death through four seasonal paintings.
Take a glimpse into the life of the wealthy housewife and the poor servant. What stereotypes are shown and do they hold true?
